Catharone support

Support and requests

Email contact@cathar.one. Include the platform you use, app version if available, the phone number on the account, and a short description of what happened. Do not send verification codes, passwords, payment credentials, or private conversation content. We may ask you to verify account ownership before discussing account-linked information.

Sign-in and account access

Catharone's initial release supports United States phone numbers. Confirm the country code and phone number, then request a new code from the sign-in screen. A verification code expires, can be used only once, and should never be shared. If it does not arrive, confirm that the number can receive SMS, wait before requesting another code, and contact us if the problem continues.

If you lose access to the phone number on the account, email us. We will not move an account to another number until we can reasonably verify ownership and protect the account from takeover.

Subscriptions, billing, and refunds

Open Settings, choose Subscription, and use Restore purchases if paid access is missing. Active subscriptions can be managed or canceled through the App Store or Google Play account that made the purchase. Deleting Catharone or your Catharone account does not cancel store billing.

Apple or Google controls charges, renewal, cancellation, and store refunds. If the store shows an active purchase but Catharone does not show Plus access after Restore purchases, contact us with the platform, approximate purchase time, and store order reference. Do not email a full payment-card number.

AI responses and memory concerns

Catharone can be inaccurate or misunderstand what you meant. You may correct it in conversation. For an account-linked access or correction request, email us with “Privacy” in the subject. Do not rely on Catharone for medical, mental-health, legal, financial, safety-monitoring, or emergency services.

Peer safety, reports, and appeals

Open the peer conversation menu and choose Report & leave. This records a safety report, closes the conversation for both people, and prevents another introduction between the pair. Peer messages are also checked before delivery; a blocked message is never shown to the other person.

To request a correction or appeal, email contact@cathar.one without copying private conversation text. We aim to answer safety appeals within seven days.

Catharone does not continuously monitor conversations or provide emergency response. If someone may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

Privacy and data requests

The Privacy Policyexplains Catharone's AI processing, memory and profile inference, service providers, peer safety, retention, deletion, and your choices. You may request access to or correction of account-linked information by email. We will verify your identity and respond as required by applicable law.

After verifying your phone number, you may allow or decline the third-party AI processing shown in the app before any information is sent to an AI service provider. Declining keeps AI-powered features unavailable; you can remain on that screen to review the Privacy Policy, allow later, or sign out. If the choice cannot be loaded, the app fails closed and sends nothing to an AI service provider. After allowing processing, open Settings > AI & Privacy to withdraw permission at any time. Withdrawal stops future transfers without deleting your account; account deletion remains a separate Settings action.

Account deletion

You can permanently delete your account immediately in the app's Settings or through the web deletion page. This removes the account and user-owned Catharone data from the active service. Limited billing, safety, security, support, legal, or backup records may be retained for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy. Deletion cannot be undone and does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription.

If you cannot use either deletion path, email us from or about the phone number on the account with “Delete my Catharone account” in the subject. We will require identity verification before acting.

Notifications and outages

Notification permission is controlled in iOS or Android settings. Delivery can be delayed or unavailable because of device, network, Expo, Apple, Google, or Catharone service conditions. For a suspected outage, include the approximate time, platform, app version, and what you expected to happen.

Security reports

If you believe you found a vulnerability or unauthorized access, email contact@cathar.onewith “Security” in the subject. Do not access another person's data, disrupt the Service, or publish sensitive details before we have had a reasonable opportunity to investigate.
